Any exclusion as allowed by § 32-40-16 applies notwithstanding any requirement under chapter 32-35 . Nothing in this chapter implies or requires that a personal motor vehicle insurance policy provide coverage while the driver is logged on to the transportation network company's digital network, while the driver is engaged in a prearranged ride, or while the driver otherwise uses a vehicle to transport riders for compensation.
