Seller's permit for sold or transferred vehicle--Time for registration--Violation as misdemeanor

If a vehicle is sold or transferred, the seller shall provide the purchaser with a seller's permit that allows for the movement of the vehicle until registered but no later than forty-five days from the date of purchase.
