Grounds for suspension or revocation of license

The State Department of Health may suspend or revoke a license issued under this chapter on any of the following grounds: (1) Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or the rules issued pursuant thereto; (2) Permitting, aiding, or abetting the commission of any unlawful act in such institution; (3) Conduct of practices detrimental to the welfare of the patient; and (4) Failure to allow department inspections, including inspections authorized under § 34-12-16 , complaint inspections and necessary follow - up inspections.
