Qualifications of professional commission members--School affiliation prohibited

Each professional member of the commission shall be: (1) A resident of this state; (2) At least twenty - five years of age; (3) Actively engaged in the practice of cosmetology for the three years immediately preceding the appointment; and (4) Currently licensed as a cosmetologist in this state at the time of the appointment and while serving on the commission. No member of the commission may be a member of or affiliated with or have an interest in any school while in office.
