Background check--Compact participants--Costs

The board shall implement procedures for the completion of a state and federal fingerprint-based criminal background check for an athletic trainer seeking to participate in the athletic trainer compact adopted by § 36-29A-1 . The athletic trainer must pay for the cost of fingerprinting and conducting the background check. Source: SL 2026, ch 162 , § 1.
