Requirements for license as clinical nurse specialist

An applicant for licensure as a clinical nurse specialist shall submit to the board written evidence, verified by oath, that the applicant: (1) Is currently licensed by the board as a registered nurse or has a privilege to practice in this state; (2) Has completed an accredited graduate or post-graduate level advanced practice registered nurse program in the clinical nurse specialist role; (3) Is currently certified by a national certifying body recognized by the board in the clinical nurse specialist role; and (4) Is otherwise qualified under §
