Charging excessive interest as misdemeanor

Every pawnbroker who receives goods in pledge for loans at any rate of interest above that allowed by law, is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. Source: SDC 1939, § 13.1827; SL 1977, ch 190 , § 270.
