Occupant responsibility

Unless the rental agreement provides otherwise, until a sale under this chapter, the exclusive care, custody, and control of all property stored in a storage space remains vested in the occupant, and the occupant shall bear all risks of loss or damage to that property. Source: SL 2022, ch 165 , § 6.
