Open ditches restricted along highways

No open ditch may be constructed within the limits of any public highway unless the topography makes such construction advisable. If construction is advisable, the ditch shall be located at a sufficient distance from the center of the highway to permit construction of a highway of standard width. Source: SL 1985, ch 362 , § 73.
