(a) The commissioner shall promulgate rules necessary to implement, administer, and otherwise effectuate this part. All rules must be promulgated in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5. The rules must be published in the standards of professional practice and made available to all licensees.
(b) Current rules, decisions, and policies issued or promulgated by the board of court reporting prior to July 1, 2025, remain in full force and effect and must be administered and enforced by the commissioner, unless otherwise modified or repealed.
