The Rhododendron and the Fall-O-Dendron festivals of Roan Mountain are designated the official Rhododendron and Fall-O-Dendron festivals of Tennessee in recognition of such festivals' contributions to the preservation of the heritage, history, and beautiful landscapes of this state.
