(1) An action or proceeding brought by the commissioner under this part must be commenced within the later of the following:(1) Four (4) years after the conduct that underlies the complaint is discovered by the commissioner or the harmed consumer; or(2) The applicable statute of limitations for any applicable criminal offense.
