(a) The board shall, in compliance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, promulgate rules that incorporate and establish minimum acceptable standards of practice for licensed land surveyors.
(b) The board may establish continuing educational requirements and standards for land surveyors. Any rules promulgated to affect this subsection (b) must be promulgated in compliance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act.
