Registration

In order to safeguard life, health, and property and to promote public welfare, by requiring that only properly qualified persons may practice architecture, engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture, or use the title “registered interior designer” in this state, any person practicing architecture, engineering, land surveying, or landscape architecture or using the title “registered interior designer” must be registered as provided in this chapter and chapter 18, part 1 of this title, as appropriate, and it is unlawful for a person to practice or offer to practice architecture, engineering, land surveying, or landscape architecture, or use the title “registered interior designer” unless the person has been duly registered under this chapter and chapter 18, part 1 of this title, as appropriate, except as otherwise provided.
