(a) The board shall prescribe fees for the application, examination, issuance, and renewal of licenses of limited licensed plumbers.
(b) In no event shall the fee for an initial license exceed seventy-five dollars ($75.00) or fifty dollars ($50.00) for subsequent renewal of the license.
(c) Effective July 1, 2026, all funds held by the state treasurer in the limited licensed plumbers fund must be deposited in the fund for the state board for licensing contractors pursuant to § 56-1-310(a), to be used for any lawful purpose of the board, and the separate limited licensed plumbers fund no long exists upon such transfer of funds. All fees, penalties, and any other payments received regarding limited licensed plumbers must be deposited in the fund for the board and may be used for any lawful purpose of the board.
