(a) This part takes effect on the date the compact is enacted into law in the seventh compact state.
(b) The board of respiratory care shall notify the chair of the government operations committee of the senate, the chair of any committee in the house of representatives with subject matter jurisdiction over compacts dealing with respiratory therapy, and the executive secretary of the Tennessee code commission in writing when the condition specified in § 63-27-212 has occurred for the compact, a withdrawal, or an amendment to become effective.
