(1) The commissioner of health may consider the following criteria in designating regional control centers:(1) Compliance or expected compliance with the state poison control standards;(2) Location in relation to the geographical distribution of persons served;(3) Whether the facility is presently providing poison control services; and(4) The capacity of such providers to deliver and coordinate poison prevention awareness programs to the general public.
