Sec. 1002.151. PETITION TO EXPAND DISTRICT TERRITORY. (a) Territory may be added to the district on a petition for annexation signed by the owners of a majority in value of the land sought to be annexed, as shown by the county tax rolls. (b) The petition must be filed with the secretary of the board. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2005.
