Sec. 1008.104. HOSPITAL SYSTEM. (a) The district shall provide for the establishment of a hospital system by: (1) acquiring, purchasing, constructing, repairing, or renovating buildings and equipment; (2) equipping the buildings; and (3) administering the system for hospital purposes. (b) The hospital system may include any facilities the board considers necessary for hospital care. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2007.
