Tax Assessor-Collector

Sec. 1009.252. TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR. (a) The tax assessor-collector of Cochran County shall collect taxes imposed by the district and promptly transfer the money collected to a district depository. (b) The assessor-collector shall receive the compensation provided for by contract with the district, except the compensation may not exceed the amount allowed for assessment and collection of county taxes.
