Sec. 102.022. CHAIRMAN'S DUTIES. (a) The chairman of the board may: (1) administer oaths; and (2) issue subpoenas for the production of books and papers and the attendance of witnesses. (b) The chairman of the board may exercise the powers granted under this section to the same extent as a judge of a court of record in this state. Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff.
