Sec. 1024.051. BOARD ELECTION; TERMS. (a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors elected from single-member districts. (b) Repealed by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 548 (H.B. 4569), Sec. 4, eff. June 10, 2019. (c) Directors serve staggered four-year terms. (d) An election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each odd-numbered year to elect the appropriate number of directors.
