Sec. 1029.253. TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the tax assessor-collector of Lipscomb County shall assess and collect taxes imposed by the district. (b) By majority vote the board may appoint a district tax assessor-collector under Section 285.041, Health and Safety Code. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
