Employees; Appointment of Staff

Sec. 1045.061. EMPLOYEES; APPOINTMENT OF STAFF. (a) The board may appoint to the staff any doctors the board considers necessary for the efficient operation of the district and may make temporary appointments as considered necessary. (b) The district may employ technicians, nurses, fiscal agents, accountants, architects, attorneys, and other necessary employees. (c) The board may delegate to the district administrator the authority to hire district employees. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff. April 1, 2009.
