Sec. 1046.065. RETIREMENT BENEFITS. The district may provide retirement benefits for district employees by: (1) creating and administering a public retirement system for the district; (2) participating in the Texas County and District Retirement System; or (3) purchasing annuity contracts from an insurer or annuity company authorized to engage in business in this state.
