Sec. 105.108. CONTRACTS. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a contract with the system must be approved by the board. (b) The board by rule may delegate to a representative of the board or an employee of the system the authority to negotiate, execute, and approve a contract with the system. (c) A contract that is not approved in accordance with this section is void. Amended by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 25, Sec. 1, eff. May 2, 2001.
