Sec. 1059.051. BOARD ELECTION; TERMS. (a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors. (b) One director is elected from each commissioners precinct and three directors are elected from the district at large. (c) Directors serve staggered three-year terms. (d) An election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year to elect the appropriate number of directors. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
