Sec. 1065.054. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. A director must: (1) be a district resident; (2) own land in the district subject to taxation; and (3) be at least 18 years of age when appointed or elected. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff. April 1, 2009.
