Sec. 1070.055. BOARD VACANCY. (a) If a vacancy occurs in the office of an appointed director, the commissioners court shall appoint a director for the unexpired term. (b) If a vacancy occurs in the office of an elected director, the remaining directors by majority vote shall appoint a director for the unexpired term.
