Tax Assessor-Collector

Sec. 1098.253. TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the tax assessor-collector of Stonewall County shall assess and collect taxes imposed by the district. (b) The board may provide for the appointment of a tax assessor-collector for the district or may contract for the assessment and collection of taxes as provided by the Tax Code.
