Cease and Desist Order

Sec. 1101.759. CEASE AND DESIST ORDER. (a) If it appears to the commission that a person is violating this chapter or Chapter 1102 or a rule adopted under this chapter or Chapter 1102, the commission, after notice and opportunity for a hearing, may issue a cease and desist order prohibiting the person from engaging in the activity. (b) A violation of an order under this section constitutes grounds for imposing an administrative penalty under Subchapter O. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1411 (S.B. 914), Sec. 36, eff.
