Qualifications For Office

Sec. 1118.052. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. (a) To qualify for election to the board, a person must be: (1) a district resident; and (2) a qualified voter. (b) A person may not serve on the board if the person is: (1) a party to a contract with the district to perform services for the district for compensation; or (2) a district employee.
