Sec. 117.053. TERMS; VACANCY. (a) Committee members serve staggered six-year terms, with the terms of three members expiring on February 1 of each odd-numbered year. (b) If a vacancy occurs on the committee, a person shall be appointed to fill the vacancy for the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment.
