Sec. 12.093. ADMINISTRATION. (a) The medical advisory board is administratively attached to the department. (b) The department: (1) shall provide administrative support for the medical advisory board and panels of the medical advisory board; and (2) may collect and maintain the individual medical records necessary for use by the medical advisory board and the panels under this section from a physician, hospital, or other health care provider.
