Sec. 12.254. SUITS BY DISTRICT OR COUNTY ATTORNEY. A district or county attorney shall bring and prosecute a proceeding under Section 12.252 or 12.253 when directed to do so by the attorney general. Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
