Prohibition of Policy Provisions

Sec. 1201.102. PROHIBITION OF POLICY PROVISIONS. The commissioner may adopt rules prohibiting specific individual accident and health insurance policy provisions not specifically authorized by statute that the commissioner determines are unjust, unfair, or unfairly discriminatory to: (1) the policyholder; (2) an insured under the policy; or (3) a beneficiary.
