Sec. 131.041. APPLICABILITY OF SUBCHAPTER. The provisions of Sections 131.035 through 131.040 of this code do not apply to land on which surface mining operations were being conducted on June 21, 1975. Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2614, ch. 871, art. I, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1977.
