Prohibition

Sec. 1364.003. PROHIBITION. A group health benefit plan may not exclude or deny coverage for: (1) human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); (2) acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS); or (3) an HIV-related illness. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff. April 1, 2005.
