Sec. 140B.153. EFFECT ON SETTLEMENTS. (a) This subchapter may not be construed to limit the authority of an entity that files a forfeiture action under Subchapter C to settle a claim for forfeiture. (b) Any proceeds arising from a settlement or from the sale of property obtained in a settlement shall be distributed in the manner described by Sections 140B.151 and 140B.152.
