Withdrawn, Deceased, Or Ineligible Candidate'S Name Omitted From Ballot

Sec. 145.064. WITHDRAWN, DECEASED, OR INELIGIBLE CANDIDATE'S NAME OMITTED FROM BALLOT. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a candidate's name shall be omitted from the ballot if the candidate withdraws, dies, or is declared ineligible on or before the 74th day before election day. (b) The name of a deceased candidate may not be omitted if: (1) the decedent was the incumbent in the office for which the decedent was a candidate; or (2) no other candidate's name is to appear on the ballot in the race in which the decedent was a candidate.
