Meat Processor

Sec. 148.021. MEAT PROCESSOR. A person is a meat processor subject to this subchapter if the person is engaged in the business of slaughtering cattle, sheep, goats, or hogs and processing or packaging them for sale as meat. Acts 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1387, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1981.
