Failure To Keep Or Permit Inspection of Records

Sec. 148.066. FAILURE TO KEEP OR PERMIT INSPECTION OF RECORDS. (a) A person required by Section 148.043 of this code to keep records commits an offense if the person: (1) fails to keep records as required by that section; or (2) refuses to permit inspection of those records at reasonable hours. (b) An offense under Subsection (a)(1) of this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $20 nor more than $200. (c) An offense under Subsection (a)(2) of this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $25. Acts 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1390, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1981.
