Sec. 1506.053. AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS AND ISSUE BONDS. The governing body of a municipality may: (1) designate by clearly defined boundaries one or more improvement districts within the municipality; and (2) borrow money on the credit of the municipality by issuing bonds as provided by this subchapter to acquire or construct a facility authorized by Section 1506.052.
