Sec. 152.005. TERMS; VACANCY. (a) Members of the board serve staggered six-year terms. (b) If a vacancy occurs during a member's term, the governor shall appoint a person to fill the vacancy. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
