Special Enrollments

Sec. 1575.162. SPECIAL ENROLLMENTS. This chapter does not limit the ability of an individual to enroll in the group program if the individual: (1) experiences a special enrollment event as provided by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936 (1996)), as amended; and (2) is otherwise eligible to enroll in the group program. Added by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 201, Sec. 50, eff.
