When No Safe Jail

Art. 16.18. WHEN NO SAFE JAIL. If there is no safe jail in the county in which the prosecution is carried on, the magistrate may commit defendant to the nearest safe jail in any other county. Acts 1965, 59th Leg., vol. 2, p. 317, ch. 722.
