Alternate Jurisdiction

Art. 18A.054. ALTERNATE JURISDICTION. (a) An application for an interception order may be made to the judge of competent jurisdiction in an administrative judicial region adjacent to a region described by Article 18A.053 if: (1) the judge of competent jurisdiction for the administrative judicial region described by Article 18A.053 is absent or unable to serve; or (2) exigent circumstances exist. (b) Exigent circumstances under Subsection (a)(2) do not include a denial of a previous application on the same facts and circumstances.
