Sec. 2001.096. PLACE OF DEPOSITION. A deposition in a contested case shall be taken in the county where the witness: (1) resides; (2) is employed; or (3) regularly transacts business in person. Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1993.
