Sec. 201.161. APPROPRIATION FROM STATE TREASURY PROHIBITED. The legislature may not appropriate money, other than fees, from the state treasury for an expenditure made necessary by this chapter. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
