Classification, Designation, and Marking of Highways

Sec. 201.903. CLASSIFICATION, DESIGNATION, AND MARKING OF HIGHWAYS. (a) The department may classify, designate, and mark state highways in this state. (b) The department may provide a uniform system of marking and signing state highways under the control of the state. The system must correlate with and, to the extent possible, conform to the system adopted in other states. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
